Tributes Continue for Rob and Michele Reiner as Medical Examiner's Findings Remain Under Wraps.

Well beyond 14 days following the shocking loss of esteemed filmmaker Rob Reiner and his partner, photographer Michele Reiner, the entertainment community persist in remembering the pair.

‘Life is Pain Without You’: Cary Elwes Remembers His Director

Posting on Instagram, actor Cary Elwes, who rose to fame in Reiner's 1987 classic *The Princess Bride*, mentioned he only now felt able to share openly about his deep grief.

"Adequate time has gone by that I can finally articulate my loss into words," wrote Elwes, saying that his first meeting with Reiner made him fall in love. "Once we started passing more hours together I understood this was someone I wanted in my life."

The actor uploaded behind-the-scenes footage from the production, remarking that he cannot recall "any day without joy".

"The movie is about love, loyalty and sacrifice. Things that Rob cherished deeply. That is part of the many reasons he was the best person to direct it," Elwes expressed.

He went on to praise Michele Reiner, stating: "To say that they were a formidable pair would be an understatement. My heart still hurts every time I recall you." He concluded with a quote from *The Princess Bride*: "Sure, death cannot stop true love but existence is agony without you."

Martin Scorsese Remembers a Colleague and Comrade

In a distinct piece, acclaimed director Martin Scorsese shared memories of Reiner, whom he originally knew in the 1970s.

"Immediately, I loved hanging out with Rob. We had a innate rapport for each other. He was very funny and sometimes acutely humorous, but he was never the kind of guy who would dominate the room," Scorsese wrote.

Scorsese pointed out Reiner's cameo appearance in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, playing the father of the protagonist.

"He could improvise with the best. He was a master at comedy, he worked beautifully with his co-stars, and he understood the emotional dilemma of his character," Scorsese added.

Court Proceedings: Autopsy Reports Withheld

In a new development, a Los Angeles judge ruled to bar the disclosure of the Reiners' post-mortem findings, following a petition from the Los Angeles Police Department.

A judicial mandate issued a security hold on the files to prohibit the public release of "any investigative information, notes, reports or photos" associated with the active case.

The coroner's office had already determined their deaths were the result of foul play, with a record listing the cause as "multiple sharp force injuries".

Response and Criticism

After the killings, public personalities offered different comments.

Ex-President Donald Trump wrote on the matter, making divisive statements that were widely condemned by numerous commentators.

Podcaster Joe Rogan added his criticism to the those speaking out last week. Talking on his podcast, Rogan labeled the remarks as "shocking" and remarked they demonstrated a troubling lack of empathy.

Rogan finished by proposing that an associate ought to have acted when the impulse to comment on the tragedy was made.
