The Initial Game Pass Titles of 2026 Reveal Xbox Isn't Giving Up Yet.
Everywhere you go, enthusiasts continue to ring the funeral bells for the green team. The platform was lately surpassed in sales by a platform few have heard of. Xbox fan sites are now publishing content on PS5 topics as a new development. Last year proved to be complete chaos for the Xbox ecosystem. Yet, based exclusively on what's coming to Game Pass in 2026, it is apparent that the green gaming company continues to plan to draw people in with strong games on its premier subscription.
The Available Now Titles
The duo of games you can play right now as you read this, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, aren't the showstoppers. Instead, the excitement lies in what's arriving to Game Pass in the coming weeks that's truly noteworthy.
Upcoming Headline Games
On Jan. 13, Game Pass will add the underappreciated Star Wars Outlaws, a vast exploration title that breaks up typical Ubisoft design with a cosmic robbery tale. An additional significant inclusion is Resident Evil Village and its giant Lady Dimitrescu, hailed in past assessments as "the perfect cocktail of frights and fights."
Compelling Indie Titles
However, the more modest titles set to join the catalog are quite compelling. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, an unjustly ignored roguelite that is incredibly fun, drops on Jan. 7th — and it merits a playthrough even if you missed out on the first Lost in Random game.
This UK-developed survival title from last year might get its hooks in you within just a quarter of an hour.
Atomfall, the stealth survival game by the developers behind Sniper Elite, also warrants your attention. Ultimate tier members also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to get excited about.
A Solid, Curated Lineup
In summary, this isn't a revolutionary update to Game Pass, and they don't represent first-party juggernauts that are the sole reason for the service by themselves. Yet, this selection are exceptionally strong. There's a good mixture of older titles you may have skipped and fairly new titles that failed to receive the spotlight they were due initially — rendering them ideal prospects to experience a revival on Game Pass.
Be prepared to say goodbye to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, though.
